Musicians appreciate the coated strings for their longevity, with users reporting up to 8 weeks of consistent performance even under rigorous play. Reviewers highlight the comfortable feel and the way they enhance playing style—especially for fast and aggressive genres like Metal & Hardcore. While some users noticed occasional snapping of the high E string, overall satisfaction remains high, with many continuing to choose Elixir for their combination of sound clarity and durability.
