Highlander WJ009-BK Editorial Review
The Highlander Tempest Waterproof Jacket has garnered a mixed reception among its users, with many appreciating its waterproof capabilities and overall value but facing concerns regarding its breathability and specific vulnerabilities. Most customers laud the jacket’s ability to keep them dry during various outdoor activities, confirming its effectiveness in resisting even heavy rain. It is highlighted as lightweight and roomy, making it comfortable for a range of movements—especially appealing for activities such as fishing and hill climbing. However, there are notable criticisms regarding its design, particularly the underarm ventilation zips. While these are intended to enhance breathability, some users report that they can become points of failure in waterproofing, with instances of water ingress during use. Several customers experienced leaks in these areas, especially after prolonged exposure to rain, which has led to some users regretting their purchase. Despite these drawbacks, many seem willing to overlook minor issues due to the overall quality, durability, and functionality of the jacket. For those seeking a reliable outer layer for outdoor excursions, the Highlander Tempest is positioned as a solid, albeit not perfect, option. **
